Abstract

SITRA was developed an attachment for producing elastane core yarns in the existing open end spinning system with minor modification

Highlights

This attachment can easily be retrofitted in the existing machine with minor modifications in the rotor box

There is a significant improvement in the hairiness of yarns produced using this instrument

Open end spinning Industries

Target beneficiaries

Mills who are having open end spinning system find the attachment highly useful for the production of value added yarns which are useful for the manufacture of certain technical textiles
