Highlights |
§ A low cost rapier loom has been designed and fabricated. The prototype loom is working satisfactory § The speed of the loom can be increased upto 100% when compared to ordinary drop box shuttle loom and it is possible to weave multi colour weft yarn for check designed fabrics § Weft way defects like starting mark, weft crack, etc. are considerably reduced § The loom is ideally suitable for decentralized powerloom sector. Since weft insertion is continuous from cone feed, higher work assignment is possible § Commercial viability is comparatively better than semi automatic drop box shuttle loom |
