Long term Certificate Course for spinning mills Supervisory jobs 

             SITRA is offering full time Post Graduate Certificate Course on “Textile Technology for Supervisory Jobs in Spinning Mills”.

Industry

            The Indian textile industry is the second highest job provider after agriculture.  This industry has been growing considerably over the years.  There is a huge gap between the requirement of technical personnel for the industry and availability of technically qualified persons.  This course will help the candidates to fill this gap.  Being production industry, it exists for many years and will remain important for many more years to come.

            A person joining in supervisory cadre can reach up to General Manager or Chief Executive Officer position in the industry based on his/her performance.

Course content

            The course content has been planned using the rich experience of SITRA and suggestions from the industry.  The theoretical inputs and hands-on training on hi-tech machines and technologies will help the students to face the industry from the day one after joining the job.

Course duration

            The next programme will commence from 1^st week of August 2010 and will be completed by April 2011.  The classes will be conducted at SITRA, Coimbatore.

Eligibility

            Any graduate/post graduate from recognized university.

Award of certificate

            The students will have to put in minimum 80% attendance and pass examination in all subjects, to be eligible for the award of certificate.
